Your right it is a kids thing…Remember when u were a kid.You love to beat whatever it was u were doing.Well with video games it takes alot of playing to beat it…
The assimilation to reality and the challenge of these games this is what holds theri attention.

The high level of stimulation that attracts them its also challenging which stimulates growth.
Video games take you into a fantasy world, and you can do things you can’t normally do.
like they said video games helps people escape reality, what makes it more appealing than books or movies is that the player has complete control, instead of watching the main character you are the main character, instead of watching the professional players, you are the professional players, you can do almost anything you want
