Warrior Spec Guide To Fast Leveling
Unlike other classes, there’s more than one warrior spec to level your warrior to lv 80. They have to great leveling specs to choose from
Arms – This talent tree focuses on a two-handed weapon. Viable both for leveling and PvP
Fury – This Spec is designed for dual-wielding 2 weapons and in viable for leveling and raids
Leveling a warrior for many players means using a sequence of different talent specs.
I suggest you to choose the Arms tree first. This warrior spec is more effective than the fury build in the early levels. The first talents are okay but will not boost your leveling power as much as the early Arms talents.
When get to level 30, you get the Berserker Stance and already have quite some talent points. That’s when you might consider to re-spec and get yourself the Fury build. The Fury talent build is as good as the Arms build in later levels.
Many players like to level with the Fury spec until they hit lvl 70 and stack some tanking gear. Then they visit instances from until they hit lvl 80. The reason for that is, that nowadays you can dual spec: You can have two talent builds at the same time and for example switch from the protection build to Fury and back whenever you want.
Let me recap the talent builds for you so you can choose the best warrior spec for your:
Arms focuses on a powerful but slow 2h weapon. The damage per second is always the same, no matter how slow or fast you attack. But hitting less frequently means every hit does more damage. And the Arms tree has lots of talents to give you additional swings.
Fury talents focus on dual-wielding 2 one-handed weapons. Later you can even use 2 two-handed weapons! You will hit really fast and need some gear to give you a better hit rating. This warrior spec is excellent for deal consistently high damage.
Once you ding 80 you will have the real choice: Will you dominate the Arena with a PvP build, raid as a protection tank or off-tank with a fury build? Take the warrior spec you like the most. The choice is yours.
Warrior – A Tank & Melee Dps
In WoW, the class of Warriors is considered to hold the first place when it comes to the tanking abilities and when it comes to their dps abilities, they also don’t lack. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Especially since the dual talent builds have become available a Warrior has become a lot more fun to play.
Playing a Warrior tank is definitely fun but after some time it can also become boring, because everybody likes a change once in a while. Since a second spec is available, for example Fury or Arms, you are able to feel more relaxed knowing that you can switch from being a tank to a dps Warrior in just a few moments without spending gold on it. With a setup like this you will be able to gather gear for both your tanking build and damage or PvP build. If you posses the adequate gear for certain build, you can switch when needed, in example tank an instance to help your friends, or you can also change to a dps Warrior if you feel like doing some PvP or just grinding. Have in mind though, that tanks are always harder to find and they are essential for any group so you will definitely be appreciated as a tank.
The Protection talent tree, like said before, should be followed by players that want to turn their Warrior in a capable tank. By placing your talent points on the Protection tree you will definitely build up your char to be a tuff tank. By enhancing his armor, giving him more Stamina, making him more capable with his shield, giving him several attacks that create a lot of threat and by giving the Warrior several other great abilities the Protection tree is great for players that like to play an important role in raids and dungeons, namely the role of the tank.
The Arms and Fury talent tree of the Warrior are supposed to increase the Warriors damage. Arms is said to be a perfect build for PvP because of many useful attacks and abilities like Mortal Strike – an ability which, when placed on a target, will decrease any healing done. The use of Mortal Strike can prove to be indeed mortal for some arena team combinations. For more information on WoW class guides, read our review: Warcraft Pros Guide Review
If you prefer PvE more than PvP and you want to dps with your Warrior, Fury talent tree will need your attention. Some players have complained that Arms Warriors are also better in PvE when compared to the Fury Warriors. This however, is something that you yourself should judge. After all, with the Fury talent build, you will receive several nice attacks and other nice talents and as a Fury Warrior you will be the only class that is able to use two Two Handed Weapons which gives the character a great look!
Since the beginning of time, Warriors have always had a special role in civilizations and they were the most important factor of any battle. The Warrior is also the only class that can use all the weapons that can be found in the World of Warcraft. When it comes to armor, a Warrior wears plate and when combined with a good use of his shield he will definitely become a strong tank while if he chooses to use two-handers he will be able to achieve massive damage.
