How does playing video games teach you to learn your child’s language?

mistiblue asked:

Why should parents play video games with their kids? Why shouldn’t they? Does this lessen arguments with them?

they should because then, you actually know what there playing and get to know what they like more. Parents shouldn’t because sometimes little kids get annoyed easily and they might become mad at you.

I think its good parenting to take an interest in what your kids are interested in, make it family time, and of course also to make sure its nothing you would object against. Plus I think theres such a variety now, especially with more active games.

We’re thinking of getting Rock Band.
