Super hero games range from frankly appalling to pretty damn fun, but those in the second class are very much in the minority. Good old Superman, as an example, has been reeling from one poorly thought out title after the other for ages and so has the Batman games scene.  Even the best of the Batman games over time haven’t captured the feeling of being under the cowl, facing down maniacs with his fists and wits.

Batman Arkham Asylum has been on sale since August 2009, and is breaking the mold and all reviews we have seen appear to be unanimous in their praise. Definitely, to us, it sort of feels like a brilliantly polished and wholly engrossing prospect. From what we have seen so far, few licensed titles have caught so credibly and completely the ethos of its inspiration as Arkham Asylum.  It’s kind of a patchwork of influences, but respectfully moulds them into its own unique take on The Dark Knight.  It’s not surprising that Warner bros.  Has labelled the game as this year’s big Batman event.  And with Rocksteady making such a thrilling, atmospheric experience, Arkham Asylum is sure to be one of the largest, and best, computer games of 2009.

Moving the left stick in the direction of the enemy causes Batman to direct his attacks, whilst the context sensitive combat system picks from a variety of attacks to perform.  The animation out and in of combat is visually striking and Batman’s cape is nearly jaw-dropping in terms of the way the material flows and moves when he runs or fights.

Combat is also a liquid, straightforward process. Batman is patently stronger than the majority of enemies he’ll see, and can chain together up to ten attacks immediately.

Gameplay won’t just be about combat, either.  Batman’s a detective, see, so there’ll be investigative work ( puzzles, etc ) to be done as well , including in depth use of what sounds a lot like Metroid Prime’s scanning system.

Gamers move in the shadows, instigate fear amongst their enemies and confront the Joker using a wide range of Batman’s gadgets and abilities, players do really imagine that they have become the Invisible Predator.

Stealth sections typically involve methodically picking off enemies one at a time, and can generally be identified upon entering a room where gargoyles flank the walls.  Batman uses these gargoyles to support his weight, using his grapnel gun to zip up out of sight and safely survey the area.

Looking round the web it is been difficult to find anyone criticizing Arkham Asylum.  The worst around appears to be from the telegram paper ( UK ) which I qote as the following :

‘With this level of invention and awareness of detail it’s displeasing that Arkham Asylum’s largest failing is with some of its boss battles.”

“While the build-up and design is usually exquisite, the fights themselves regularly rely far too heavily on tedious, rinse-and-repeat Nintendo game tropes.”

“The final encounter particularly, comes about rather suddenly, and is so vapid as a gameplay experience it can leave a slightly sour taste after the terrific ride that came before it.’

Nevertheless even that commentator clearly thought his negative view on this to be minor point, ending with :

‘But that ride is what matters most, and is undoubtedly what’ll you remember after the end credits have rolled.  With a chain of combat and stealth challenge rooms with online leader boards rounding off the package, Arkham Asylum is a brilliantly polished and wholly engrossing prospect.  Few approved titles have captured so accurately and completely the ethos of its inspiration as Arkham Asylum.’

Our conclusion : Moving Batman around in Batman Arkham Asylum as reviewed is always a treat when you think about yourself as a badass slayer. The combat is free flowing allowing for dynamic fighting sequences and ability.  Great involving and immersive fun to indulge yourself in!

The Rogue is one of the 10 playable classes in the World of Warcraft. While wielding melee weapons a Rogue can deal massive amounts of damage with special attacks and other moves. Most of the attacks a Rogue can make consume an amount of Energy. An Energy bar which shows the available amount of Energy can be found under the hit point bar of the player. Rogues can have a maximum of 100 Energy if you do not count in the talent points and the Energy recovers in time.

A Rogue can be chosen by Dwarf, Gnome, Night Elf and Human players from the Alliance side and by Troll, Orc, Undead and Blood Elf players of the Horde side. A Rogue is commonly known for his skills to ‘gank’ other players, which basically means killing players of the other factions on either the battlegrounds or in the arena’s or in PvP areas. The majority of the attacks the Rogues can make award them with combo points. In total you can place five combo points on a target. The combo points have use because the Rogue also has finishing moves that are stronger if more combo points are applied on the target. If in example you have five combo points on your target, your finishing moves will have a lot of effect.

There are some classes that can deal damage and heal or even tank, Rogues however, are a pure DPS class and can’t heal or tank. They are pure damage dealers that can end up high on the damage lists. If you want to be on top of the damage list you should know the class well. You will need to know the ins and outs of the class though, including the talent builds. Probably the most important aspects are the talent trees. Rogues can choose between the Assassination, Combat and Subtlety talent trees. The talent tree that is best for leveling is definitely the Combat talent tree. As a combat specced Rogue you will have an easier time leveling because you will get a decent amount of survivability while you will get several strikes like Ghost Strike that will increase your damage output. You will gain a lot of avoidance which means that you will take less hits, both the hit and crit percentage will increase and your offhand will function better which will make leveling up easier.

The Assassination talent tree is usually preferred by players that have reached the level cap and start doing Dungeons and Heroics. For those of you who like to play PvE it is a great build that especially focuses on the Backstab attack. For those of you who like to play PvE it is a great build that especially focuses on the Backstab attack. In order to perform a Backstab you need to be at the back your enemy and that is why it is not that good when you are playing alone.

If you have an enemy that is turned towards the tank however, you can attack the target from behind and spam your attacks to make amazing amounts of damage. If you like to play PvP you should try out the Subtlety talent tree. With an even greater survivability and great talent trees that allow nice bursts of damage this tree is great for PvP purposes. If you play PvE you want to do more damage over time so Subtlety is less useful there.

One of the most famous hybrid classes in WoW is definitely the Druid class.. The reason for this is surely a lot of fun that this amazing class has to offer. If you rolled Alliance the only race which can become a Druid will be the Night Elf race and if you rolled Horde your only choice when it comes to the race will be the Tauren race.

With so many different abilities Druids are mostly famous for their shape-shifting. Druids have a lot of forms they can shapeshift into like Bear, Cat, Sea Lion and Travel form. The BC expansion, Druids obtained another form – the flight form. With level 70, all classes were able to get a flying mount. Another thing that made Druids unique is that their flight form could be cast instantly, same as other forms they have.

When it comes to specialization a Druid has three talent trees to choose from – Balance, Restoration or Feral Combat and by placing his talent points into one of these threes he can become a healer, damage dealer in the form of a caster or a melee dps and a tank. With the Balance tree a Druid can become a caster dps well-known as Moonkin. If a Druid chooses to spec Balance he will become a typical dps caster with a special form called the Moonkin form.

While in this form, a Druid will grant his party/raid members +5% on the spells’ critical strike and this is one of the reasons why other classes of casters love to have a Moonkin in their group. Moonkins are often called “Boomkins” for fun and are typical mana consumers.

To get the best damage output they will rotate their spells and plus use two DoTs – Moonfire and Insect Swarm. This spec can also do a lot of damage with AoE spells like Starfall, Hurricane and Typhoon. Their gear needs to be rich in spell power, haste, crit and hit rating and with a good use of spells and adequate gear they can really own the damage meter. A Feral Combat Druid can spec to be a melee dps or a tank.

When he shapeshifts into the bear form, a Druid will have a lot of stamina and armor and can tank as good as any other tanking class, and if he wants to dps in melee he can always shapeshift into the cat form. A Resto Druid, popularly called “the tree” because of his tree form, is one of the best healers in WoW. While in the tree form druid’s spells will cost him less mana and the overall healing will be enhanced for 6% done by anybody to anybody in the same raid group. Restoration Druids are unique healers and they are especially valued for their HoTs – spells thay have a healing over time effect. His gear needs to have a lot of spirit and spell power and therefore healing druids are known for their ability to regenerate mana very fast.

A Druid’s armor should preferably be from leather but they can also wear cloth. If your choice falls on the tanking or melee dps spec it is suggested that you only wear leather since you will have much better stats. Cloth armors can be used by healing Druids or even Moonkins since they usually stand in the back and cast without being in close combat. A Druid tank needs to wear armor which has a lot of Stamina so he can be deal with the hard hits while tanking.

No matter if you like to play PvE or PvP, you will definitely have a lot of fun with a druid since you can constantly change your build and style of game play. Leveling a druid also goes quite easy and is advisable to start with the Feral Combat build. Don’t forget that a Druid can always instantly shapeshift in order to swim faster, breathe underwater and of course travel faster.

In today’s video game market you have to pay quite a bit of money to get the brand new cutting edge video game systems like the PS3, XBox 360 and even the Sony PSP, I am talking major money anywhere from $300 to $500 dollars then on top of that you have to buy the expensive games that can be $50 to $60 dollars, just ridiculous prices.

With all this money, it is pretty hard to keep up and get the newest games and or systems, so I decide to do some homework on trying to find another way of getting games for my PSP. Well it didn’t take long for me to cut down on the cost of buying PSP Games, in fact, now I get all my PSP games for free.

Have you been having trouble learning to download games onto your PSP? It is really very easy to learn how. Here’s how to do it in 6 simple steps.

1.) Get A Memory Stick

You are going to need a lot of free space. The original 32 MB stick just won’t cut it. How can you download PSP games or watch movies on 32 MBs?! I would recommend at least 256 Megs of free space.

2.) Download PSP game files to your computer

Make sure you aren’t downloading shareware but only full games. After you download the games you want to your computer, you are able to transfer them to your PSP.

3.) Decompress the file

If the games are compressed in a ZIP file, you will need a free program like Winzip or Stuffit Expander (Mac) to decompress the file. These programs will automatically unzip the file.

4.) Connect your PSP to your computer

Now, how do we play the games? To be able to play the games, you must connect the PSP to your computer (duh). You should use the free USB cable that the PSP comes with. The PSP must be in USB mode for the files to download. How to do this? Press the HOME button and scroll to the SETTINGS column. Scroll to USB CONNECTION and press X. Then you are ready for file transfer.

5.) Copy the PSP Game to your PSP

You have to copy the full game to PSP > Game. If you do not put the game in this folder, it certainly will not work.

6.) Play the game

I know it sounds to good to be true, but believe me when I say this is the real mccoy. It is legal and extremely easy, all you have to do is download the PSP games from your computer onto your PSP and start playing. There are literally thousands of PSP games that are available to download, but you have to be care as there are a lot of sites out there that will really mess up your computer with adware and spyware.

World of Warcraft Leveling Guides are designed to get your character to Level 80 as fast as possible. To do this, they get your character following a certain chain of quests that is designed to rack up experience rapidly. But you need to take into account the unique class quests for each character class. Is completing class quests compatible with the race to level as fast as possible?

Each character class has unique attributes, abilities, and quests. That’s why you may love playing a Warlock, while I’m big on Hunters, and so on. Just getting to Level 80 without developing the uniqueness of your character would take much of the fun out of the game.

Do you want to know how developing the unique aspects of your character’s class fit into a fast WoW Leveling Guide? It doesn’t. It’s a lot of work to integrate the unique quests for each class into a standardized leveling guide. Some guides focus only on the common quest path. They leave it up to you to figure out when and how to do your class quests. But there are some people out there who are doing this right.

These guides are designed so that your character will automatically see their class quests in the guide as part of their path to Level 80. Getting your character’s class quests done while they’re leveling is vital to your character’s success in the end game. Leaving it up to you to figure out when and how your quests into a generic leveling guide doesn’t cut it. Don’t accept any guide that doesn’t include your class quests in the progression.

After just getting in after returning the rental copy of Shift I have to say I might have to go out again to buy it. Past additions of the game have been very poor indeed. The last one that was worth a ten minute go was Undercover and that was at best, okay.

This game has actually got a chance of competiting with the new Forza game which is on the way later this month.

The game itself is long lasting indeed, with hours needed to be spent on it to gain access to cars and to finish all of the races. Some of the online modes are certainly going to take a while to get into.

This game isn’t about used cars for sale but more about the custom made models from the likes of Alfa Romeo, Ford and every other car maker you can think of.

In terms of playing for fun , Need For Speed did seem a lot better than Forza but then again I have only managed to play the Forza demo. When it comes to thinking about Forza the graphics are a lot better and they have a bigger selection of cars.

EA have concentrated on the driver himself and have tried to make you feel like the driver. You feel like the driver because speed is shown as a bit blurry, crashes turn the screen black and white and damage is shown on the windscreen too.

It is really up to you on the decision to take when it comes to buying these games, you could do what a lot of people are doing and buy them both!

In WoW, the class of Warriors is considered to hold the first place when it comes to the tanking abilities and when it comes to their dps abilities, they also don’t lack. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Especially since the dual talent builds have become available a Warrior has become a lot more fun to play.

Playing a Warrior tank is definitely fun but after some time it can also become boring, because everybody likes a change once in a while. Since a second spec is available, for example Fury or Arms, you are able to feel more relaxed knowing that you can switch from being a tank to a dps Warrior in just a few moments without spending gold on it. With a setup like this you will be able to gather gear for both your tanking build and damage or PvP build. If you posses the adequate gear for certain build, you can switch when needed, in example tank an instance to help your friends, or you can also change to a dps Warrior if you feel like doing some PvP or just grinding. Have in mind though, that tanks are always harder to find and they are essential for any group so you will definitely be appreciated as a tank.

The Protection talent tree, like said before, should be followed by players that want to turn their Warrior in a capable tank. By placing your talent points on the Protection tree you will definitely build up your char to be a tuff tank. By enhancing his armor, giving him more Stamina, making him more capable with his shield, giving him several attacks that create a lot of threat and by giving the Warrior several other great abilities the Protection tree is great for players that like to play an important role in raids and dungeons, namely the role of the tank.

The Arms and Fury talent tree of the Warrior are supposed to increase the Warriors damage. Arms is said to be a perfect build for PvP because of many useful attacks and abilities like Mortal Strike – an ability which, when placed on a target, will decrease any healing done. If you prefer PvE more than PvP and you want to dps with your Warrior, Fury talent tree will need your attention. Some players have complained that Arms Warriors are also better in PvE when compared to the Fury Warriors. This however, is something that you yourself should judge. After all, with the Fury talent build, you will receive several nice attacks and other nice talents and as a Fury Warrior you will be the only class that is able to use two Two Handed Weapons which gives the character a great look!
