Cheap Video Games by Steven M Schultz

Everyone has become used to the big three video games systems that are so popular around the world. We usually compare the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii and decide which is best based on graphics ability but it is also important to look at how they are operated using the games controllers provided in the budle you buy.

You probably don’t think much about the importance of the controllers you use but the manufacturers spend a lot of time on design and we usually just use them without thinking. The Xbox first appeared back in 2001 and the controller that came as part of the bundle supplied is known as the duke controller.

It turned out that Microsoft got it wrong and people found the controller was too large to use comfortably and so people didn’t like to use it. In response they quickly released an alternative controller known as the S model which is much like the 360 controller you get today.

The the Xbox 360 version is now probably the most comfortable and most convenient to use. The Playstation 3 controller in use today is not as new as it first seems to be.

It is not very different to the controller for the PS2 with a few internal modifications. The original PS3 controller was more revolutionary but the new control layout was soon abandoned.

The talk is that it wasn’t as simple and easy to use as the established PS2 controller. There is little doubt they came right in the end though there will be many sleepless nights preparing their next new games system whenever that is due.

There is nothing basically wrong with the current system but a new system will mean people expect high standards when they come out with new ideas. With the current financial climate it may be a while but we will be looking out for something special when it arrives.

The most game changing brand is currently the Wii games systems from Nintendo which changed the market. Something totally different was included with the wii bundle and the wiimote was so different it was hard to make a comparison with older and more established console controllers.

The designers were thinking outside the box with the wiimote with a novel than anything we had seen before or had thought about as ways of how we could control the games we like to play. They are more advanced than all the other games console improvements since the earliest days of computer games.

We should be grateful for the wonderful way this technology has been developed and is used for the enjoyment of the customer and there is little doubt that the next generation of gamers will consider this is the way to play. When the Wii bundles were first released hardened gamers dismissed the lack of powerful graphics computer chips but they failed to notice what a significant change the wii brought with it’s controllers.

Gamers everywhere will be looking forward to what the next generation of games systems and and these are the most complete systems you can get. Chances are they will all be interactive and who knows what new features they might offer us and they could be completely different to what we expect.
