When I first started playing World of Warcraft as a Mage in my early levels, I ignored the profession of cooking, thinking it to be a boring and menial task for an aspiring brave type, like myself.  Instead, I centered all my energies – and Mana – on my daily grind for cheap wow gold and hanging out with guild friends in the Pig and Whistle.

When starting as a warlock, the talent build is one thing that you need to set right first because it will affect the rest of your warlock’s life. Just like other classes, you can focus on one of the three talent trees; for this warlock guide, I will focus on affliction warlock.

Affliction Warlock
This type of Warlock focus on DoT (Damage over Time) to destroy their adversaries while mixing some  talents from other tree such as Demonic Embrace to increase survivability. Haunt is your bread and butter spell; it comes with three devastating effects: shadow damage, raising all DoT damage, and add the damage dealt to your health; complement it with Life Tap and you will get a killer combination. These are other talents that you need to get:

1. Improved Curse of Agony; increase this spell damage by 10%
2. Suppression; increase hit % and reduce mana cost.
3. Improved Corruption; increase your corruption damage by 10%.
4. Improved Drain Soul; return 15% mana when you kill using Drain Soul.
5. Amplify Curse; reduce curse’s cooldown.
6. Fel Concentration; just as prerequisite for the next talent.
7. Nightfall; give you chance to enter Shadow Trance state.
8. Empowered Corruption; increase your corruption spell.
9. Shadow Embrace; good for DPS and debuff.
10. Siphon Life; gain life as you attack your opponents.
11. Improved Felhunter; regain mana ability for your pet, good when pairing with Dark Pact.
12. Shadow Mastery; increase your Shadow spell damage or life drain by 15%.
13. Eradication; chance to increase spell casting speed.
14. Contagion; increase the DoT and make it more resistant to debuff.
15. Dark Pact; our other mana source, take it by draining from your pet.
16. Malediction; raise both your spell damage and the chance for periodic critical strike.
17. Death Embrace; makes you even more powerful at near death state (health below 20%) by adding drain life and damage bonus; the last one will make the fight shorter.
18. Unstable Affliction; great DoT spell and nice present for anyone try to dispell it.
19. Pandemic; increase critical rate by your DoT.
20. Everlasting Affliction; restart your Corruption spells duration; this will make your opponent even more frustrated.

Mix some Demonology talents:

1. Improved Healthstone; improve the effect of your healthstone, just for filler.
2. Demonic Embrace; increase your survivability against AoE attack.
3. Fel Vitality; raise the stats of your pet, thus very useful for Dark Pact.

There are many variations even among the Affliction focused tree itself; other World of Warcraft Warlock guide may suggest different Warlock talent build such as mixing Shadow Bolt to make better use of Nightfall talent, adding Immolate, etc. For the PvP version of affliction warlock build, check pvp guide for warlock.

Note: if you are into spellcaster, you should try to build a priest. While it is not a killer machine like a warlock, no raiding party would leave without one, thus it is one way to make yourself popular. Check the talent build of a holy priest at priest leveling guide.

As a priest, you can choose whether to go with the Holy path or the Shadow path. Both path have very different talent build and role in the game. In this guide, the main focus is the Holy Priest path, so I will describe the talent build for that path.

Basically, there are two big ‘major’ for those who play priest: the “Holy Priest”, which is your typical healing-support priest and “Shadow Priest” which is focus on killing skills. Note that while I can provide you with the talent build, the best ways to cover the other aspects of the game such as fast leveling and gold making is still by using a guide. Why? Priest Talent Builds
First, you will want to invest on Healing Focus and Improved Renew. Put two points in Healing Focus and 3 in Improved Renew; it is important that you can heal more without interruption.

Your next tasks is get Spell Warding and Divine Fury to maximum level to raise your survivability. Add one point to Desperate Player, it will heal you instantly,  also another skill to prolong your life.

Maxing Holy Reach will give you 20% extra range for six different spells, keep you in safe distance while maintaining the survivability of your group members. Improved Healing is need to be maxed as well since it will reduce the mana cost for five different spells.

Healing Prayers is another friend of your mana pool, max this talent to gain 20% reduction of two different spells. As for Spirit of Redemption, you don’t want to use this often since it will make you die, but one point in this talent can save your group from a chaotic situation, so take this one as a reserve.

Obviously, you will not be the damage dealer when you are in a group, but adding 5 points to Spiritual Guidance is not a bad idea since it will give you fighting ability for unpredictable situations.

You might have read other recommendation about Surge of Light; in my opinion, take this talent only if you are going to use Smite and Flash Heal repeatedly later at higher level. As for Spiritual Healing, you definitely want this as a Holy Priest since it will increase your healing spells by 10%.

Having a Lightwell is an extra advantage for your group during a raid; they can click it for heal, so it will make your job easier. It is not instant healing, but it is a good way to keep your mana for more demanding situation.

Spend five points: two in Empowered Healing as it will make your greater healing better and three for Serendipity as this one will cut your next spell mana cost; by doing so you have opened the next talents.

The next three talents are crucial for a Holy Priest and you need to max them all. Empowered Renew will make your Renew heal the target instantly; Circle of Healing allowing you to heal up to five friendly party or raid members within range; Test of Faith increase healing rate on a party members whose health below 50%, increase the probability to save him/her.

There are many different opinions regarding the last two talents: Divine Providence and Guardian Spirit; other priest guides may suggest you to leave it and dump your remaining points in the Discipline tree, but recommend that you take both of them. Put three points in Divine Providence to gain access to the next talent; three points will give you 6% boost in some healing spells. The last in the holy tree, Guardian Spirit, can make your tank even harder, thus make it easier for you to keep him/her alive during unpredictable situation.

Being a Holy Priest, you need to have better survival rate yourself, so put the last 20 points in the Discipline tree. Keeping yourself alive comes first before maintain the others health and a group will be in a very disadvantage when their healer dies, so these are how to spend the rest of your points:

1. Unbreakable Will; reduce the duration of various side effects, enable you to back into battle faster.
2. Silent Resolve; reduce the chance to dispell your helpful spells and damage over time spells.
3. Improved Power Word: Fortitude; increase Fortitude and Prayer Fortitude by 30%.
4. Martyrdom; gain Focused Casting effect for six seconds after getting hit by critical range or melee attack.
5. Meditation; allow your 50% of your mana regeneration continue even as you casting spells.
6. Inner Focus; cut down the mana cost for your next spell by 100% and raising its critical rate by 25%.
7. Improved Power Word: Shield; increase Shield word by 15%.

This priest guide is mainly about holy priest talent build; for leveling method, you can find a group to visit instances dungeon or doing quests all the way to level 80. Quests is far better because you will get your gears as rewards, so don’t have to spend gold for it; it also a lot faster way to reach maximum level (IF you are do it in the correct order). In the same way, other people will post their eggs through Live Feed—take advantage of this and hatch unique items!

When your neighbors plant flower crops, they will sometimes get “Perfect Bunches”. The “Perfect Bunches” can be shared to you by your neighbors via Live Feed. While you’re keeping an eye out for Eggs and Lost Animals, get a bunch of flowers or two and decorate your farm.

How to Be a Great Neighbor

To your friends who have been kind enough to friend you, be a wonderful neighbor to them. Post anything that you can share with your friends and be sure to send all your gifts every day. If possible, stop at their farms and help out by fertilizing their fields. You’ll both benefit from this activity and make your bond even stronger. Bear in mind, don’t hoard all the Lost Animals for yourself when you’re watching the Live Feed. Let other players have a turn and come back some other day after you get a few.

Simply saying that online gaming has become popular is a massive understatement. Since its introduction around a decade ago, year on year it has attracted more and more people, and there are no signs of the growth slowing. It’s not just the number of gamers that has been increasing either, it’s the number of games and gaming websites too. So, why is online gaming becoming increasing popular? Well, you can put it down to a few things. One is better technology, another is improved graphics, and a third is increased interactability.

In terms of graphics, as with technology (and yes the two are related), monumental steps have been made. Though you can have good games with poor graphics, it’s hard to argue against the point that graphics really add to the overall experience of gaming. Long gone are the days of watching slow, dull blotches jerk across the screen. Such graphics would not be tolerated by gamers in current times. We now expect top notch graphics that resemble movies, and that’s what we get! Whereas before non-gamers would wonder why we would spend hours watching an uninspiring screen, they’re now drawn in by the life-like graphics and want to experience them themselves.

Everyone knows that great graphics don’t always equate to a great game though. The criteria for a great game is that it is interactive and rewarding, and this is where online games have really come into their own. Playing online against real people is, for the vast majority of people, far superior to just playing against a computer. Before, Internet connections were just too slow to allow gamers to properly compete against each other online, but now you can compete simultaneously against 20+ people from around the world with no problems at all. This has greatly extended the amount of time that you can play a game before getting bored of it, and literally every time that you play a game you don’t know what to expect.

Why should anyone choose the Xbox 360 over the other competing game consoles of the day? It’s more advanced than some but boasts fewer benefits than others. It also happens to be the oldest of what is now considered the holy trinity of gaming consoles: The Wii, the Xbox and the Playstation. With all that choice out there, what makes this, the older one-by a whopping year and a bit-the one worth choosing?

The Xbox 360 came to the arena prepared to leave a lasting mark and to make sure the world knew that the second Xbox was going to hold its own against any and all competition. Sony already had the Playstation 1 and the Playstation 2 on the market, with development for Playstation 3 underway. Unfortunately for Sony, Microsoft beat them to the release date and contained fewer bugs.

The Nintendo Wii, released long after the 360, has sold roughly two thirds as many units worldwide than Microsoft’s console was able to sell. As for the third outing for the Playstation brand, well that’s just embarrassing just about everybody. Either way, Microsoft and Sony keep referring to each other as competition but claim the Wii isn’t something they consider competition. That means Microsoft gets to brag about being the best. But how is that so? The Xbox 360 is a gaming console and the Wii is a gaming console. How do these things not count as competition?

It’s been pointed out time and again that gamers who own a Nintendo Wii will often own either an Xbox or a Playstation to go along with it. This is pointed out to underscore the fact that the Wii doesn’t meet all the needs of a gamer; however, it could be argued that the opposite is also true.

Microsoft has said time and again that their Xbox 360, like the PS 3, goes after a demographic that is more into gaming, as they say. Their demographic is one made up of hardcore gamers who want the best graphics, the best sound, and the most action packed games. The Wii on the other hand apparently doesn’t want that demographic, but instead wants the families who aren’t necessarily into gaming much themselves.

Whether it was the fault of the Wii or the fact that people just didn’t want it, the PS 3 didn’t sell well. This means less people are using it which means a lot of the gaming experience that the Xbox 360 and PS 3 are built around are simply better with the former. With the online gaming world, for instance, would you rather play the games amongst a fan base of 30 million people with the Xbox, or less than 15 million with the PS 3?

Until the PS 3 gets more acceptance, which may happen in the next couple of years, the Xbox 360 is the clear winner when it comes to high powered gaming consoles. The Wii, on the other hand, is not a machine built around selling games, but is a machine built around selling the nifty idea of waving around a controller.

Everyone enjoys the flushes of hi-tech console games which, no doubt, use the most sophisticated processes that permit us to step into that gaming world and be as if we really lived there and are part of the dynamics. The technical facet is a thing to value for the reason that they speak for man and his unstoppable progress in ostensibly every aspect of his being. Naturally, the games themselves are affiancing and well worth leaving the real world for, if only for a few minutes or hours. The problem with console gaming is the fact that these consoles are quite pricey which means it takes only somebody with at least above-average income to be able to afford one. On the other hand, video games put up almost similar technical edge and fantastical worlds as what the consoles offer but at an staggeringly cheaper price. One just needs a PC with the right specs and a game to install in the hard drive. This means that as long as the technical specs of your machine are capable of running these games, then you get to play and be gratified. Yet again, when you use a PC for gaming, you just might be facing a lot of issues such as incompatibilities and installation errors and all that. Still, perfect as it may sound, computer games just may have their own loopholes just as the ones run on consoles. A third way to relish games could be to connect online and experience similar veneration and magic as what console and PC games offer. When you talk of game diversity, online is not something you’ll find yourself being compromised. You can just go to a game developer’s site, find your game and wait a few minutes for patching, if it hasn’t been patched yet. This, or course, baffles a great advantage over console and PC games which tend to restrain your game choices. Online, there could be an endless stream of games you feel like exploring, from action to adventure and they’re all created with the technical superiority of Flash design software. But Then again, a restriction of online games is connectivity. When your connection is not consistent, you might have to be logged off automatically from the game each time the signal dies out and then logged in when it comes back. The downside is, aside from the interruption, you have to start the game over. By far, these are three of the most popular ways to enjoy a console, PC or online game and while each has its own drawback, it rests upon your own discernment which of the three can give you the best gaming experience.
